A QR code, or Quick Response code, is a two-dimensional bar code. Unlike traditional bar codes, however, QR codes can be read by mobile devices and can store website addresses, text, phone numbers, and even email addresses.
QR codes are important for brands, as they can deliver information to users’ smartphones instantly and effortlessly.

I’m using the Zuzkit QR code generator: http://www.zuzkit.com/QR-generator.php. It was easy to use. Their static QR codes are free. You can create dynamic QR codes as well. I’ve tried dynamic QR codes within their free 1-month trial. These QR codes cannot be edited when the trial ends and you stay with a free plan but they work after the trial like static codes if you don’t need to change their content.
